THINGS REQUIRED - Paper, Chartpaper, Animals, General Stationery and Home Items

Step 1: Explain to the children that there are many stores and shops where they ask the customers, “May I help you?” .

Ask the children to think of the stores or other places of business where they have visited. (Example: grocery store, post office, restaurants, and other stores.) Make a list.

Step 2: Tell the children that when a store person asks, “May I help you?,” a polite customer will say, “Yes, thank you” before saying what s/he wants.

Step 3: Talk about body language, like smiling and making eye contact as well as helping language.

Step 4: Now categorize animals into categories and each category animals have same price and is following like Wild Animals($5 each), Mammals ($4 each), Birds ($3 each), Reptiles ($2 each), Amphibians (1$ each), Pure Water Animals i.e Fish (1$ each).

Note: Categories are written to give awareness about those so you can explain, You can also categorize based on your things and also set price based on your available animal toys.

Step 5: In SHOP, customer have $50 to buy Animals wisely for Zoo, At first turn, you can become customer and kid will become shop person and you will wisely use your budget to buy animals, but it is just demo to show your kid that ‘How to buy’.

Step 6: Finally your kid will become a customer and buy animals for the zoo.

a) Ask your kid to create Zoo Base and Animal Measurements Planning and Design on given Paper (Not on Actual Chart/Graph paper).

b) Sample of Zoo Base and Measurements are shown in following figure

a) Create zoo by following your design and place different animals and other things.

b) Kid will present his city project.
